Idling goes down and engine stops with A/C on

Hi everyone I'm Gustavo Woltmann and I work as an assistant in a small publishers house. I have a car, an old model to be exact, Toyota Corolla 1994 and now is having problem with its idling. If I turn the a/c the idling goes down suddenly and then make the engine off. What should I do?

Howdy! How's your car now? My initial guess is a weak battery or not charging properly.

Did you recently change your battery?

It might be either a clogged or stuck IAC valve.

The OP's prob is his throttle position solenoid is not working, it's a simple fix.
