Hey hows it goin? I've changed several engines but never upgraded like this.Ihave a 93 s10 blazer which I put In a 350 cast# 14093638 bored 30 over port polished vortec style reverse flow heads with a quadrajet 4 barrel carb and shorty headers.jusg bout a th 400 tranny .when I'm finally Rollin what kind of power and performance can I expect .keep in mind I only have barely over 400$ in this very limited on funds and I've done all this for the first time myself just asking around for advice thanks alot

If somebody would give me little advice or a guess of bout how much hp with my 30 over 350 shorty headers quadrajet port and polished heads installing a th400 tranny or explain to me how to figure this myself I'm new at swaps like this cast number 14093638 thanks

Sounds like a fun project , we need a little more info in order ta tell u horsepower #'s . like what cam is in there , piston type , intake , ignition , cyl head casting # , etc ?

But lets say its a 212* @ 0.050 duration RV cam which is pretty common , on a dished piston 350 with about 8.5 ta 1 comp a stock intake and q-jet with small tube headers is gonna make between 275 & 300 Hp, with proper porting 300 and a bit maybe ?

Actually if u gave me all the specs i could load those into dyno-sim 6 and let a computer figure it out , tell ya the torque peak too !

638 & 880 blocks are late model roller blocks they where used from the late 80's through 2006 , they were TBI and MPFI , they are a great starting point for any hot rod sbc project.

If u swap on a aftermaket intake u could pickup 20 - 30 hp depending on yur carb and with 216-218 degree duration and flat top pistons u could hit 350 hp & 425 - 450 ft lbs a torque/
