Ok, I’m new here so here it goes. I have a 1970 4bolt main 350, with machined camel hump heads, performer intake, 4 barrel carb, rv cam, roller rockers, headers, duel 2.5” exhaust....any idea of possible hp?

Well if your RV cam is 212 @ 0.050" and your heads have a 4 angle valve grind and she's got flat top pistons she just might make 325 horse, torque would probly be a nice 375 ft lbs.
If you want to punch past 350 hp and 400 ft.lbs .... Vortec heads and some more cam ...
Advice ... you've got a solid combo but me id be happier running a little more cam.

Thanks for the reply.....unfortunately I lost the specs on everything. Had it built nearly a year ago and it has sit while work and other things took precedence. The old man has passed that built it for me so can’t go back and ask. The heads have been worked, springs upgraded, flat top pistons, roller rockers, and the other listed previously. Seems to me he said it should make 375hp plus but don’t remember exactly....a “mechanic” pulled oil pan to try to check cam and he said it had some “serious lobes” but couldn’t tell exactly without pulling cam. Just installed turbo 400 with 2500 stall torque converter....guess will see if it all works out soon enough, if can finish trans conversion lol...btw going in ‘66 impala 2 door

Yup at 375 hp with camel bumps and flattops your gonna need a street/strip cam 230-236 duration @ 0.050 and around 500 lift should be sweet in that 66.

Any way to tell cam specs without pulling? Motor is in car now... I think it was 225 or 230, the one I wanted was too much he said and it was 250 or 260 range if I remember correctly...probably just have to wait til I can fire it up I’m guessing to see if it’s enough? I won’t be doing any serious drag racing but I do want it to be fun if needed. (The car is barn find, one owner, 87k miles, running and driving, all original except I’ve pulled the stock 283 (find crack in block when it went for rebuild :() and 2speed power glide and stored in my barn for now). Hopefully in the next week or so when I have time to tinker with it I can fire it up...thanks for the help.
